I have just discovered that the word 97 and 2000 dll are different. I have the following bit of code which works in both, with the appropriate dll but not in Word 97 with 2000 dll (ver. 9).

wdCurrent = wa.Documents.Add(Template:=sOpenFile.ToString)

Anybody experience this or have a work around. At the moment i am looking at 2 releases but surely there must be a way??
