    Is it possible in a VB form to display a sound(graphically like in windows sound recorder).wav if so how?

    Yep, the data inside a wav file is stored binary so you could read it either into a 8 bit that's byte, or 16 bit integer array, that is 1 dimensioned for mono or 2 dimensioned for stereo, (with 2 channels)
    Then you could plot out the graph.

    The byte array should give negative amplitude for values below 127 and positive above 128.
    The integer array should be negative or positive corresponding to the integer sign, but i'm not sure.
    If you give me some time then i'll possibly could make it create a bitmap with createcompatiblebitmap for faster performance
