    Need advice on RAM

I want to buy a new set of RAM sticks. I have an Intel 440LX Pentium II on a Award Modular Bios. Do I have to worry about compatibility problems ? What is the best type & speed of RAM that my computer will support.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

Does that mean I can have upto 384 mb of SDRAM of speed 66Mhz. I guess 66 is the speed. I don't know much. Not RDRAM or DDR . Though it might be more expensive, I won't be replacing them for a long time to come. Have my current PC for 5 years.

it could probably SUPPORT PC100 SDRAM. but you likely won't get anything out of it if the FSB speed is only 66Mhz as i suspect....

I can use SoftFSB to overclock my computer to 300 Mhz from 266 Mhz. My Intel is a i440LX3 (99% sure). In the BIOS, I have an option which says, Internal Clock Speed. The available values are 66Mhz & 66+Mhz

Well, if you going to OC your RAM, then PC100 will probably work. Just make sure I used the right motherboard in the link I posted.
