When files are being printed, what’s the best way to get notification of the earliest time that such files may be deleted without impacting printing?

It depends a lot on your printer driver. If you are controlling the printing, the best thing to do is load the file into the app, delete it, and then print from the app's variable instead of from the disk.

True. However, I don't have that luxury. I'm printing brwWebBrowser.Document with
brwWebBrowser.ExecWB OLECMDID_PRINT, OLECMDEXECOPT_DONTPROMPTUSER, "", ""
