    Basic problem with settings

    hi all,

    i am very new to asp.net,just started learning.
    so please help me solve my problem even if u feel it as a stupid questoin.
    i have installed IIS version 5 and MDAC version 2.7 with asp.net
    I have also created a folder named BegASPNET in C: drive.
    But when i try to run a sample web page, it gives error like
    "Server Application Unavailable"
    I dont know exactly whats the problem. I have followed all the steps required in installation. i have even created a virtual directory. still its giving problem!!

    Please help me. i will be greatly apologized.

    Did you install IIS before or after the .NET framework? If afterwards, then that may be your problem. You'll either have to unistall/reinstall .NET or get the patch that's out and about...

    no no i have installed IIS before .NET Framework. what could be the problem?
