What does OCX stand for? [Resolved]
Does ne1 know or have an idea what does the .OCX extension stand for.
(I know those are ActiveX controls if that was your answer. I wonder what it means.)
Perheps .ACX was taken?
Some other guesses:
Object Collection eXtension
Object Controll eXtension

i just searched google for ocx and it was the 2nd one

I've always assumed it was a combination of Object Linking and Embedding custom control (which is what it is) and ActiveX.
