I know some about the language itself like some syntax and stuff like that and i am taking a C++ programming class right now in college but it is only in the console area of C++ i want to learn to write windows apps and once i am done with this C++ class i will know most everything except how to program in windows...so basically i just need a site that describes how to create windows and basically what each thing is and what it is used for after that i can probably pick it up just by playing around with it... that is how i learned the other languages...Thanks for any help!

How to make a window
Stuff you can do with windows
Controls you can implement on forms
If you need more information, just skim through the TOC (Table of Contents on the left) for the appropriate subject... or even just search for it.

Stay away from MFC until you know the API.
And one programming class in C++ won't teach you "most everything".
Though you'll probably know enough to start windows programming.
