Vc98
I have been working in VC.NET for a while but have recently switched back to VC98, and wanted to find updates for it.
Has MS complete forgotten it???

You can still use VC++ .NET to create normal Windows programs as you did before, only with more standards compliance from the compiler.

Yeah i know, but i just formatted my hdd, and my VC.Net is a pain to install....under the Windows Component update all updates are successfull but still it tells me that the setup runtime files didn't copy successfully...the only way i can install it is to bypass the WCU resulting in a bad installation....
