ok.... I need some help here...

I have found a component that is exactly what I am looking for...

Here is my delima...

I am on a VERY tight budget.... So... what I would like to know is where/how do I get started creating this same thing.. but writing it all by my lonesome.... now I know there are some "freebies" out there but many are lacking functions here and there....

So my question is will someone push me in the right direction to figure out how I go about creating something like this for myself? Now keep in mind I am still learning... so and links you can provide me would be greatly appreciated...

Did that but damn that was one heck of a learning process... besides the "interface" is not as smooth as the other one..
