getting traffic up in slower forums

Since post count seems to be so important to some , why not take advantage of that and offer "bonus" post counts for posting in slower forums. Ive heard complaints about posts in the General area that should be in ASP.NET VB.NET or Database sections. This might be a way to get traffic up in those areas.

That can also encourage worthless posts just to earn those bonus points or increase post count. Even now such things happen, although there are less complaints nowadays.

Also you can report a post to the moderators so it can be moved to an appropriate forum.
