directx
I want to run my game with a direct x type image all around (backround, character) but i need just a sample code so that i can just get started and i can usually take off from there. Thanks and Good Night!

i have vb.net and those are written for 6.0.... anyone else?

And? The theory remains the same. Only the initialization will be slightly different.

If you have .NET you might want to consider DX9 although I've read some people are having problems with it. The good thing (?) about DX9 is that DirectDraw is back.

As far as I know, under DirectX9, DirectX was too hard or impossible to do under the .NET framework. However, DX9 implements fully managed code to make it easier on those for .NET. Check if Jack Hoxley has put any DX9 tuts up yet.
