Do I need to install Vs.net on Live server ?
Question
Am I right in saying that when I deploy my ASP.net application from my devlopment server to the new live server, I don't need to install VS.net on the live server , only the dotnet framework.(ie. dotnetfx.exe as supplied on the VS.net Studio disc) and IIS 6. I am sure I have heard this question asked before on this forum but after searching for an hour I couldn't find the Thread. Please Help

That is correct. only the framework needs to be installed on your live server ...

If you want to debug then you'll need to install the server components from your VS.net disk.
