Sorry,
forgot..
all the girls have to come to the party naked... No, that was my perfect party, that I would like very much..
a pajama party is mainly for little girls, they were those dumb bunny footed pajamas.....

Javascript is pretty easy
http://www.htmlgoodies.com has 30 good tutorials on learning the basics...
its pretty much like C++.. just different...
In a while(maybe tomorow) I can search for and gather some good javascrit sites....
then I'll post them here

Jethro - was gonna say that too when I saw the thread topic but just couldn't fit it into the conversation
Anyway, JavaScript's pretty easy if you've done anything with C-style syntax. It's basically C++ with loose typing - everything's a variant.
If you're going to write some for yourself then I'd recommend you get yourself a book on it and sit it next to you as a function/object model reference. I hate just using the internet for references like that, you can't just flip pages like you can with a book.
Oh yeah, and JavaScript is apparently very different to Java. Never tried Java myself but I can tell you that JavaScript is basically C++ for browsers but with no data types, only variants.

Lots of links
Ok, not that many... but its almost 7 Am here, and i have to go to school soon, I'll find some more links when I get home.

slumber party, pyjama party same thing, except maybe they think that a pyjama party is where you go to a party (like with music and stuff) in your PJs.
i prefer denniswrenn idea. carpet lickers woo hoo.
Now, aren't you sorry you didn't just keep on scrolling?

Getting some answers here...yeah bet Harry to the punchline
HarryW and Dennis
Apparently the stuff is written in Java not Java script. Basically grabs some information from a Unix box in xml format and crams it over to AppleOS and Wintel with formatting, verification etc.
Looks like some sort of C hybrid.
Therefore need good intro book and possibly learning edition of Java, (agree with Harry regarding books). We tried out the Borland one and decided it was a load of crap.

Thanks. you gave new light as to how one should treat my subject line. and don't worry..laughter is good whether or not it's at my expense, as long as the objective of laughing isn't to ridicule and belittle me or anyone else.
Sophtware
Thanks. I can really count on you to follow instructions, he he.
