Flicker with masks

I am bliting directly to the form
like this

BitBlt Form1.hDC, 0, 0, 80, 65, _
    Picture2.hDC, 0, 0, vbSrcAnd
    
    BitBlt Form1.hDC, 0, 0, 80, 65, _
    Picture1.hDC, 0, 0, vbSrcPaint

It flickers like crazy..

I am using masking (?) but dont know how to incorporate a backbuffer.


Any tricks?

I have not done BitBlitting in a while but I remember there being an Autoredraw on the form and needs to be off? Or is it On? Try then both. I believe it has something to do with AutoReDraw!

actually its the labels that are flickering now.

hmmm, I've never used both labels and blitted. Play with there AutoReDraws. Worst case make a blitting character set so you can blit your words instead of using labels.

Not sure, I'm not at home so I can't try any of my suggestions! Sorry!
