Sorting Files
Hi all,
I have the application wherein I rename the files coming from different
folders and put into single folder. The problem is while renaming files I
have to preserve the order of the files i.e. the file arriving first should
be first and file arriving second should be second and so on.. in the single
directory.
Any one have ideas how do I form the string so that order should be
preserved.
Thanks

Seeing as the user can re-sort the sequence displayed by clicking on the top bar of Windows Explorer, is this needed??
What sequence are they in at present? Date sequence or alphabetical?
If you just move the files, then the "Last Modified Date" doesn't get altered - and it is this date that Windows Explorer uses.
