Tutorials
Hello everyone,
I am on a major hunt for some excellent hands on/interactive educational online tutorials. They must be free! All VBers need experience. We all need something to sharpen our tools on.
I have read many books, some good/some not so hot. I have created some small apps...mostly VBA macros, dll type plugins, com components..etc..
You know, nomatter how much you think you understand....its never enough. I would be so thankful to anyone who can offer some of their most prized resources. (Links, Books, CDs, etc...)
I am in the middle of creating some simple apps using (MMB, Director, VB SDK for plugins, Web languages & script). Each CD will focus on one topic at a time. example: Creating classes and accessing thier properties, methods, events. These CDs will be free to download and samples of the tutorial will be provided online.
It is my goal to provide a better pool of resource and training (Free!!). It is exhausting to look for anything worth while ( and nearly everything that is decent, cost wwwwaaaaaaaayyyyy to much). Please help me to achieve my goal by finding all the best resources out here. I will give each of them (that pass the grade) a plug in my upcoming project.
Please send me any info that might help to:[email protected]

The Karl Moore tutorials are very good in my opinion.
They used to be at VBWorld but some (I don't know if all) of them have been recently been moved to Developer.com.
Good luck with your idea. Sounds like a massive task but it will be an awesome resource when completed.

Documentation is like sex; when it's good, it's very, very good, and when it's bad, it's better than nothing.

Thank you very much Simon!!
In fact, I have met Karl! We were at a Vb seminar in Colorado a few years back. He really is amazing. I have gone through all of his tutorials and I really enjoy the humor he injects into all of his lessons.
One lesson I especially liked was the one on API. Someone asked me awhile back, 'how to put small picture icons in your menu'. Karl had a very good API tutorial on how to do exactly that and I was able to help this person (no small thanks to Karl Moore).
I recently found this site.
http://www.allapi.net/
Since I have had nothing but problems with the WIN32API.TXT file, and the MSAPI viewer, I was happy to see what this site was offering (For Free!! none the less......but you better download what you can, as they are closing their doors soon ;.-(
Again, thank you so much for your feedback. I will let everyone here (and other forums) know when I am up and running. It will be about a year though as we are making a transition now to .net.

If I stumble across any other useful tutorials I will post you.
Thanks for the allapi.net link but I am a regular visitor. It's a good site, shame the guys who set it up had to give up maintaining it.
