Crystal Reports Driver Question
Hello I am trying to use Crystal reports 8.5 in my application. I am looking to the best driver to use to accomplish my goal. My software package has multiple Datbase ability where a user can either use an Access Database, SQL, or Oracle Database and our goal is to instead of having to maintain 3 types of reports for each database type have one type that we can pass the connection string so that it can use the same report for all 3 database types. Does anyone have any suggestions on this or any ideas on how this can be accomplished?

Upto my knowledge I think it is not possible. Because each database having diff. type of Datatypes like
--------------------------------------
MSaccess - Text
Sqlserver - Varchar
Oracle - Varhcar2
----------------------------------------
So Crystal can Identify Which datatype for which Datbase...?
if u found some solution.. You are the man.
Cheers.

Do not connect report to any database.
By using ADO and Active Data / Field Definitions you get faster reporting without any database driver problem
