I have an application that was written using VB6. However after compiling the program
I get the folllwing error message.
1. Runtime error 429 - licence information for this component not found. You do not have an
appropriate licence to use this functionality in the design environment.
I believe the licence info bit refers to a Crystal Report components that I have a some form.
So far I have been unable to find any run-time error 429 explanation. Can anybody help?
Cheers

You can try doing a search in the Help file. Just put in error '429' and you will get some tips. I know there is a title within the search that I gave someone else and it worked for him. But go ahead and try that.
Hope that helps you out!

You need a VBL file from somewhere.
Beyond that I cannot say, but that error always happens when you have no VBL file. VBLs are license info files.
