    MDAC - microsoft data access connectivity
    u require mdac 2.7 to run vb.net


    The .net Framework requires about 74 mb hard disk space

    MDAC 2.7 is pre requisite for Data Access .NET Framework.

    just a technicality, but ADO.NET will run with MDAC 2.6, it's just that 2.7 is recommended. I've always wondered why though, because the only changes MS lists on their site from 2.6 to 2.7 is enabled 64-bit processing
