    Question VB App Instalation Problem

I'm trying to installed an app I wrote written in VB6 SP5. I used the general Package and Deploy wizard. Tested it on my machine and the install works great. I tested it on two other machines in the office, and I ran into problems.

The setup raises the message, "setup can not continue because some files are out of date etc... ... press okay to update these files and reboot your system"

Well, that's nothing out of the ordinary. That happens all of the time. BUT, the problem is, after I allow setup to update the files and reboot, it'll do the same thing next time I run the setup. It's as if the files aren't getting updated for some reason. This has happened on two different computers in my office. One with Win2k Server, and the other with Win2k Professional.

Any ideas or work arounds? This is urgent. Thanks...

Personally I cannot stand the Visual Studio Installer. I have had so many problems with it. It would always want to change files back to their original state and I found it very difficult to use. If this is for a major project, I suggest purchasing an installer program such as Wise Installer.
