    Question

    Not really sure where this belongs, but I know it will get the most views here,
    so.. here goes!

    What is python?
    I know its a language, but what else?
    it must either be, really cool and good, or a piece of crap language.

    Because when webhosting places allow you to use it, it seems like such a big deal, ummm mainly because not many places allow you to use it

    If somebody could please tell me more about python, and possibly show me some sample code, I would be greatful!!

    It's a scripting language like Perl, mainly used on POSIX-based systems. I think it's object-oriented...anyone want to clarify? Try http://www.python.org for more details.
