Thumbs up looking for web developer

    Hey,
I have a small family business, Hill Street Webware
    http://hillstreetwebware.com/

I am a graphics and web designer and am good at
search engine promotion. But a programmer I am
    not.

I am looking for someone who can do internet
database programming. I may have a lucrative
job now, and it could be good for me and whoever
thinks s(he) can do this job.

    Please contact me at:
    [email protected]

    Thanks.

I really really really dont want to be offensive here but you should tidy up your web site!! Change Font types to remove pixelation

If you are genuine then you must make your web site appealing in order to get buisness.

Add a bit of umfff by removing some box shapes and replacing them with curves, because of the buisness your in you have to show off your talents as a web developer. There are no animations at all you will find adding these (simple to do isnt it) increases the WOW factor of the site.

Again i say i really dont intend to make this sound offensive or nasty in anyway it is more advise because when i looked at the page i thought of old fasioned dull web pages that havent been updated for years

Hope it helps even though there is more chance that you want to kill me for the comments

I'd agree with Paul to some extent, keeping the colouring down to 2 or 3 colours on the site as well as smaller text & non square images would make the site look a bit more professional.

I wouldn't recommend the animations though (sorry Paul ) as these add to the pages size & therefore make the loading time of the page longer.

Do like the way you use % values rather than fixed pixels, not many designers do this any more & it does make the site more effective.

Wow somebody agrees with me i must log this..........

Keep animations like gifs small and i believe it will benefit the site, Download times arent too long for a 5KB Gif

Yes, I am interested in developing your project. But i work for pay and it means moderate pay. I had already freelanced ASP projects for shopping mall, educational site etc. If you feel i am the right person, you can catch me at [email protected] with the subject:ASP Programmer!!!

    Thanks
