Question How to pass parameter value in Data Report?

I am doing one project of the institute. In which I want to make a report in which I have to show report for the particular month's admission. Then I have to pass parameter for date from the textbox which is on form itself. And then that date is used as a parameter for the report on which report will be shown.

    Passing Parms...

This is really pretty trivial. I need a little more information, but just finished upgrading an app I wrote with all kinds of runtime information on the report, some of it from user input, some of it from SQL queries completed during runtime. If you're still stuck, reply to this post and I'll see what I can do to help.

It would be nice if you tell me you have upgraded your application from what to what and still you didnt tell me what report engine you are going to use. If you are using data report of VB6, i really worked on it some time in the past and i have forgotten it by now

I'm using data reporter as shipped with VB6. I have used it a lot, in fact, it's all I use.

When I said "upgraded", I was referring to a custom app I wrote and then modified to do more things.
