Help w/ gnutella client

Just woundering if someone could point me to a link or something for writing a gnutella client in vb.net or even vb 6.0 i am desprate to find some example code to get me started.

Are you trying to build a client for the gnutella network? Or just build a peer to perr file sharing client app (making your own network)?
