No i'm not wanting to start a flame war, i am just curious as to what affects the speed of an ASP page. Ie connection obviously and speed of server i guess. i am looking at making an asp page, and i have only really used two sites that use asp, and both of them were slow.
And opinions would be appreciated.

PS are there any limitations with it? i.e. older browsers, only works in ie, not netscape? things like that.
Cheers

asp is fast.
ya it depends on the connection and server
and you forgot to mention optimized code
which is probably the biggest of all factors
optimized code determines how fast something is
but if you want a short n sweet answer
asp is the way to go
SIMPLE and good
