    Unhappy Run-time error '-2147352567(80020009)

    Dear all
    does anyone have any idea about his error message :-
    Run-time error '-2147352567(80020009)
    There was an error while attempting to move to a record in a recordset.
    Error in COM layer

    This error message was occur when my VB listener program was receiving the data from other PC.

    I get errors like that when I time out on my server.

    Perhaps thats the problem?

    Timeout?

    I have not idea on this ,, it;s the program time out problem !!
    in your case ,,how do u overcome it ?

    too tricky without code.

    All depends on how you are accessing the data/ creating your recordsets/ ADO / DAO....... etc


    Try stepping through the code and finding the point at which the error occurs.
