    help for making tick tack tow programming

    hi

    i have problem, how to make tick-tack tow program in vb with intelligence (one plays with computer)

    for the ai, do a loop and chech all avalable slots, se which one gives the best result, and then use it!

    Or look at planet sourcecode.com. I remember seeing someone writing a assignment on AI, an made an example on Tic Tac Tow. Just search planetsourcecode.com, and you will find it....

    While we are on the topic...have you ever seen a perfect algorithm for 5on a row. You know where 2 players are agains each other, with noe borders and you are trying to get 5 on a row....thats hard to find a god algrith on...anyone???

    Sounds almost like you're talking about the game Connect 4, except it's 5.

    ...maybe it is...but it has to be hard to play with only 4 on a row for the player not starting....

    OK...so I have checked out what you are calling Connect4..but that is not the game I'm talking about...In connect4 you have to pick your next move at the bottom. What I'm talking about hast more like the same rules as tick-tack tow but you don't have borders. So you don't have only those 9 places to put your next mark, but you could put it anywhere.......anyone???

    OK, so I found something called GOMOCU..anyone heard about it...thats more what I was looking for...
