    I've only written one game, and that was because I had nothing else to do. It took me ten hours and one thousand lines of code (not counting comments). It's called Space Blaster, and it's kinda like Asteroids, except the asteroids shoot back. It sucks though, because I had no resources on the box I did it on (no Dx, no Inet, nothing, just the tools that install with VB). All the graphics are just the graphics that ship with VB, and I used mock multi-threading (millions and millions of timers). As you can tell, I was a newb when I wrote it.

    well i've made both 'who wants to be a millionaire' and 'wheel of fortune' for class projects, (best in class by the way ), i would post them, but with all the sound effects and music and graphics, they both top out at over 100+ mb each. now that i know better i'd definetely use DirectX though the next time i ever have to do it.

    hey, i didn't choose the assignments, my prof did. well all those .wav files add up big time ( i wanted it to be as close to the tv show as possible, so i hunted down all the sound clips and music i could find, and some of my own for some transition screens), i'd say the sound effects made up %75+ of the game. but i've also learned quite a bit since then, it would be nowhere as big if i did it now.

    *personally, i would have found the assignment more interesting if it was to make Ikari Warriors

    ABBA ABBA ABBA ABBA

    hmm...think i'll occupy myself trying to remember how many 8bit game cheat codes i can remember...UUDDLRLRSelectStart, 107-373-5963 <--mike tyson, dear god i remember that, god damn, if i lost my cell phone with all my numbers in it i would have to wait for my girlfriend to call me, yet i remember that...

    I just finished a Crossword puzzle makers (Generates crossword with about 500 words in < 30 seconds on a 266!!!!!! ... school computers...) I got 99% on it, got marks off for documentation, lol.

    I am currently working on our next project, which is checkers. I've made level 1 AI (random piece, random move) but the next level of AI, my teacher wants me to select the BEST piece and the BEST SPOT to move... quite hard if you ask me.

    Machaira: Hehehee...but if he modify the sentence a bit and say:

    "I think you really can't be a gamer and REAL programmer and have a life at the same time..."

    ...then it might be true...

    I wonder how many lines of code I've written and how many hours I've been debuging... That'll be the first question I ask a magician.

    hmm

    Life = 5000 - Sqr(Sqr(Codingtime ^ 2 + Gametime ^2) + DoingStupidPointlessStuffForNoReasonTime)^3) \ PeopleBeatUp

    *time is counted in minutes

    So, how low does your life go?

    Im not sure, but i think that samll boys from sweeden has to go to the military as well. So if you work hard you might beat up some NAVY SEALS or US Marins, or SAS by your selves some day....
