Error in exporting txt & wk3 *Resolved*

Hi all,

I am using CR 8.5 & vb6 sp5 and have made the setup program for the app. When I run the app from the VB IDE I can export my CR to txt, wks, xls and pdf no problem.

When I set this app up on another machine, I can still export to xls and pdf but get a unhandled exception error with the msvbvm60.dll when I try to export to wks or txt.

I have included the export dll for all formats aswell as the export destination dll's. I have also ensured that the msvbvm60.dll is registered.

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi

Might not really help you but seems like some dll file(s) are missing. Why dont you check the dependency on your files, while doing this make sure that you export the file in all extensions so all necessary activities are monitered and who knows you might get your missing part of the puzzle!

Also try the above in Installshield

Thks Diban for your suggestion. I have resolved this problem by downloading and installing CR 8.5 SP1 which had some hot fixes
which solved the problem.
