    Smile Coversion problems

    The following line of code :

    If objdataset.Tables("Owners").Rows(i - 1).Item("itemClientID") =
    Me.lblID.Text Then
    '
    '
    end if

    Produces this error :

    "Cast from string "" to type 'Double' is not valid."

    Can someone help out?
