300A huh? better o/c...now. the 300As should hit 450 on a 100 FSB easily, and 533 on 133FSB is a possibility. (madness huh?)
and you can get TV cards for pretty cheap...Avermedia makes good ones, but look into the Leadtek TV2000XP or something like that.

Creative / Hauppauge
If your looking to buy a TV tuner, make sure your processor supports cache monitoring, as it can be quite CPU thirsty work.
I would recommend Creative or Hauppauge, although Hauppauge's software can let the cards down.
I had a WinTV PCI NICAM FM from Hauppauge about 12 months ago... SUPERB card, awful software. You won't go far wrong with Creative Labs though, excellent all rounders!
If you looking for some pricing, feel free to gimmie a call and i'll gladly look into it for you.
Regards
Paul.

Hello again m8y...
Just had a look for the prices for you.. and a Hauppauge WinTV Go PCI Tuner is £50 Inc VAT.
I can have a look l8er for the Creative pricing... but your looking at around the same price.
Hope that helps you.
Regards,
Paul.

Good Ol' Platypus
In any case, I'd dump the software it comes with and use free stuff instead; DScaler for watching and VirtualDub for Recording.
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)
