Yeah... under control panel ... in the Administrator bit or something... I'm using Win98 at the moment, so I can't check. But it will still display those error messages (replacement for the BSOD), but gets rid of the "send error message" stuff.

Which is abit stupid, cause once the OS really crash, and I actually wanted to send it, but it wouldn't let me....

Click on Format Hard Drive, that will solve the problem.

That's what you think, but if you press the "format" button on an MS system, it will actually freeze your CPU!

    Good for you M8.

All of you ripping Microsoft off, haven't got a clue! The only reason that it remotely funny, is that it's usually NOT Microsoft's fault in the first place.

That message is designed to help you... the user. It's your OS's way of telling you there is a problem with the vendor's script, and if you're willing to send them the code, they will investigate it for YOU. If they took the message out, you'de all moan cause it crashes without telling you what happens. THEY CAN'T WIN!

Microsoft haven't got to where they are now by developing scripts which crash, and i bet 95% of you all use a Microsoft product on a daily basis without knowing.

Get your facts straight first, then comment!

    Regards,

    Paul.

hes right microsft makes pretty good stuff (linxis is still more satble though) but just because they do doesnt mean we cant make fun of em

one of micrshafts biffest problems the reason we relly can make fun of them is that they dont have much of an update system instead of giving updates out for free after you buy the product microsoft instead uses some updates the ones you dont get and uses them to make another version of windows. So telling microsoft about your error may not help u as much as it helps them

We make fun of MS cause their greedy little ****s, who steal ideas of other companies and then force them out of business, as well as selling us inferior products, and developer packages which aren't up the scratch in an attempt to be the best.

You're talking about the Microsoft of like ten years ago.
They haven't stolen anything off anyone lately.
These days they tend to buy things off people.
