    Lightbulb Challenge to Assembly Programmers

    Hi all,

    If you can program Assembly or C and are looking for a challenge in helping write a Operating System please see the following post.

    Get ahold of me someway, Forum PM systerm or something. I want to write Release Doc's. And maybe help on the webpage for the OS. I used to know PHP/MySQL real good but havn't worked with it in a while. Should be wasy to re-pick PHP. Hit me up (Sorry, I dont know ASM)

    I have some idea's that would be useful but too hard to do or whatever. Here they are:

    • Built in WebServer with PHP/ Perl
    • Mp3 Player
    • Simple programming lanugage for the OS
    • Networking Capibilities
    • Jabber Client (AIM,ICQ,MSN, ect) (useful)
    • Connection Monitor so see who/what is running on your ports and look for attacks
    • File System like Windows uses .txt for text files (you need .txt also becuase its like a must in every OS
    • Customizable Desktop
    • Web browser
    • Login password that actually doesnt allow acces unless you have the right pass.

    I found this one interesting. I have experience in C,C++ and micro-controller programming (8031). Will I be of any help?
