What is your favorite TV show..if you have one..and if you do...what is your favorite episode...

One of my favs is "Married with children" And the episode where AL was sleeping on his couch cause the wife kicked him out of the bed, and a thief broke into the house and was robbing the place..and AL woke up and when the thief tried to hit AL with the crowbar he had..AL blocked the hand that was holding the crowbar..and punched the guy out.The the next morning news paper headline said "Local shoe selling idiot becomes hero" So the next week..AL recives a notive in the mail that he is being sued by the thief for attacking!!! HAHAHA .So then it shows AL and his family in court ..and then the thief comes into the court in a wheelchair and a neckbrace (One punch did all that) ...and AL being the idiot that he is..tells the judge
"Um your honor...seeing as you are a person of limited intelligence ...even you can see that this case is a fraud"
HAHAHA, so at the end of the court..the judge says "Mr. bundy..you have been orderd to pay $50,000$ to the thief"
So all stands up and says "You mean i have to pay $50,000" that i dont have to this thief?!!? ..Hell why not make it $100,000" and hits the thief in the face again. HAHA
Then the show ends with AL and his wife in bed...ginning like idiots..and AL says .."Yeah i sued him for hurting my hand on his face!..and got $50,000 for it!!" HAHAHAHA

"Sniff" That was one funny show...too bad they quit making it "/sniff"

    Later.

My favorite is Seinfeld. That show got better every time!! But when I was a little youngster(about 5 or 6 years old) I used to watch Gumby ALL THE TIME!! If it was still on TV, I might watch a couple episodes just for old time's sake.

I loved Mr Ben when I was a kid Don't know about episodes though, it was years ago and I was very young.

After that, it'd have to be Red Dwarf. Best episode... Ooooo hard to say! Umm... Maybe I'd have to go for the one with the luck virus in, that one was v funny Any Brits out there remember the name of that episode?

    Talking Cartoons!!

I remember Tom and Jerry...that show was hilarious!!

They never spoke a word (well yeah they were a cat and a mouse but still it's a cartoon ya know) but ill the stuff they did to each other said more than any words could!

Also i used to love transfromers and gi.joe those were the cartoons where the characters would actually get shot! and you would actually see them get all shot up! not any surprise cartoons arent like that any more considering the way people are nowadays.

I never really saw the Transformer cartoons but I hear they were pretty awesome. We had all the toys and stuff over here in England - I think I still have an old Galvatron model somewhere - but I don't remember the cartoon being big unfortunately. I'd love to see it back on telly though By the sounds of it I missed some cool stuff.

    They were cool...

I remembered that i have "Transformers the movie" ..hehe it still works too.. i was surpised..if i knew of a way to transfer VHS to mpeg format i would then send you a copy harry..but transfering stuff like that to another format is as about as understandable as anchient chinese aritmatic

I still remember one part about transformers the movie... after the big autobot and decepticon battle, megatron gets kicked out into space by starscream because he wants to be crowned the new ruler of decepticons...so megatron is floating out in space dying..and then this giant monster transfromer..that is actually a planet eating thing...offers megatron a deal...if megatron becomes the big thing's personal henchmen..the big thing will give megatroan a new body and a new crew to lead..

so he gets his new body and his name changes to "galvatron". then the movie changes to starscreams coronation and starscream says "As your new ruler i..."
and before he can finish galvatron comes swooping in and says "Coronation starscream?..your such an idiot.." then starscream says with terror "Megatron??!! is that you?"
and galvatron says "HERE'S A HINT" and transformes into his new gun and just melts starscream into burnt electrodes and scrap metal.

See now that was cartoons... ..nowadays there is crap like Pokemon and digimon and whateverMon,

I remeber i had the leader of the autobots..."Optimous Prime" untill some moron i knew sat on it and broke in my house....grrrr last thing i heard it was worth $250-300$
    on ebay...grrrrrrrrr.

    Thumbs up

Thunder, THUNDER, THUNDERCATS, HHHHHOOOOOOOOOO Loved it!

I have been saying for years the transformers should be back on! I only had the main red / grey leader model (think that was optimus prime) & it changed into a long truck. Though this was the only model I had, I never missed an episode of the cartoon. We should start a campaign to bring this back! Who's with me on this one?

Cartoons are not all crap now. I get Cartoon Network & Nickolodeon chanels & these are the dogs bol!@cks of shows which easily compete with the great Tom & Jerry ones :
    • Cow & Chicken
    • Dexters Lab
    • Johhny Bravo
    • Angry Beavers

Anyway, with the above reponses, I have to argue here on the old childrens shows (apart from Harryw's post as MR BEN rocked - think this is still on as I caught an episode few weeks ago).
    • Button Moon and
    • Cockleshell Bay

Were by far the greatest (2nd one there I think only the UK got - could be wrong here, it was series set on docks / seaside with 1 boy & 1 girl in red & white striped jumpers if anyone can remember it)

    Best show now...
Am not really keen on the American sitcoms (Seinfeld etc although friends is a cool series). Has anyone seen THE VILLA on Sky One? Like a dating agency show, 4 blokes, 4 girls picked & each has a "perfect partner". They are sent to a spanish villa for a weeks holiday & have to guess who their matched with.

This is hillarious as it goes wrong 9 times out of 10, you have blokes with 2 girls, or people arguing obver the same person or there have been 2 people which had gone off not interested in the matches, but had just pulled a local spanish resident! This is THE greatest show ever!

I remember Tom and Jerry...that show was hilarious!!

    They never spoke a word
    ...although Jerry's cousin did, once.

Favourites - Red Dwarf (esp. "Backwards" & "Gunmen of the Apocalypse"), Tom & Jerry (esp. "The Cat Concerto"), and The Simpsons.

Talking I'm gonna butt in here again...

On the contrary (or however you spell it)!

I still watch Tom & Jerry (it's on Cartoon Network for those interested) & there was quite a few episodes where there was speaking.

Mostly episodes from the late fourties, I have seen Tom speak, Jerry's good & bad concience & mostly Spike the dog speak.

There have been other extra characters such as a yellow duck without a name which have also spoken, but I will not go into that!

    Smile Yes Yes..

I do remember them speaking...but the reason i said in the first place that they didnt speak was because in the majority of there episodes there wasnt a huge intellecual conversation going on..since they were trying to do each other in
