    Interacting with another .exe - custom install

    Howdy. I'm trying to make a quick app so that when a CD runs, this thing opens, and gives you the option of running the main app from CD, or installing it.

    My prob is, that if the user chooses the 'install' option, I want to then prompt them if they want to start the program they just installed (but only if the install was successful).

    The install setup.exe was made with the P&D wizard thinamy.


    Can this be done? Easily?

    U could just make a normal exe file with the support files bundled with it(on the cd) couldn't u?

    I ran into trouble though when there was an out of date version of the support files....

    It's cool. I just found out that I have the source for the P&D wizard, and I can modify the setup1.vbp file to add functionality.
