Wireless LAN Info please...
Hello, I was wondering if some of you can shed some light on this subject for me. I am interested in setting up my home internet to be wireless. (Unless some of you want to come pull cable) I have a few questions. Right now I have a linksys router which connects to 3 computers. I was wondering what the easiest way would be to make it wireless. I do not know if I need the Router/Access Point combo or just the Access Point. Since I only have 1 IP address, I want to make sure all computers can use it. Some people have told me to get the router/access point combo while others told me to just get the access point.
Any Ideas?
Also, since some operate at 2.4ghz, will having a cordless phone that also works on 2.4 ghz cause a problem?
Thank you!

1. Just get the Access Point and plug it into the router. You don't need a router/access point combo if you already have the router. It would be a waste of money.
2. I doubt that it will cause any serious interference, but if you want to be sure, you can go with 802.11a instead of 802.11b. It runs at 5ghz and transfers at 54mbps instead of 11.
