Any Source Safe Experts out there?

I can't edit my module in source safe. When i right click on my class module, the "CHECK OUT" option is not available.

I have closed my project down & re-opened it again & still the problem prevails..........ANY IDEAS?

Is the project already checked out by you or anyone else(You will see a red check mark if that particular module has been checked out).

If yes, you will not be able to check out unless it is either Checked in or you did the checkout.

Your project is not related to Sourcesafe. first add your project to VSS. go to tools/SourceSafe/AddtoSourcesafe
then you will see all the SourceSafe options

I have the same problem. We work in group and our projects are all registered into visual sourcesafe. I used to be able to check out/in files in VB but now I can't do that anymore. When I right click on an item from my project I don't have the sourcesafe functions (check out/in, get latest version/...) anymore.

isabelle ... Maybe you forgot to go into your Visual Basic IDE and select the menu Tools/Source Safe/Options... from there, you might be able to fix the problem.
