WMP keeps freezing
Whenever I play a .avi file which is about 700 MB, WMP keeps freezing after a while. It doesn't happen with short files (like 200 MB). Any way to fix it?

So Winamp can also play video (.avi) files? That's cool. I tried playing the same file with divx player and it never started playing it.

try using mplayer2 (start-run-wmplayer2)

Hahahahaha.
Yes it can, but for 2.x you need a plug-in, in 3.x I believe it's native. I only had wa3 for a short while before I deleted the POS though.

Good Ol' Platypus
3.x is bullocks, 2.x is very nice, if there was an integer-only OGG decoder for it I'd say it's the best out there (stuck on a celly, so OGG really takes up a lot of CPU %).
All contents of the above post that aren't somebody elses are mine, not the property of some media corporation.
(Just a heads-up)
