    ASP.Net Learning? Sample Program?

    I am new to ASP.Net....

    Should say, not start yet....

    I think I am competent in VB6...

    What I try to do, I think, is not fancy, just some database update programming.

    So much information out there... Would anybody give a hint where for starters?

    I even don't know how to test/run such an application !

    VS .NET comes with many walkthroughs and examples. I found them useful.

    I found the IBuySpy Portal code to be a wealth of info... plus it gave me more insight into portal based web design.
