There is a problem with local javascript on my machine. It's been there for a long time, about 1 year.
In case you're wondering what local javascript is:
Sometimes, when you get that "Restore Active Desktop" screen, you have to click on that link to restore it. [Nothing happens when I click it]
If you open up the C:/Windows folder (I have Win98), you get that 'warning' screen which tells you not to mess, and a link "Click here to see Windows files." [Nothing happens when I click it]
I hope you've understood now what I mean by local javascript.
Second:
Now, I installed Norton AntiVirus 2003 just today. If any of you have it, open up the options screen, and you'll see that the buttons are javascript 'based.'
Which means I can fill out the form, but when I click the button, nothing will happen. I've attached a compressed JPG of the NAV option screen snapshot.
I know that this problem is attributed to my local javascript problem, which is why I mentioned it.
I had posted about this earlier, but to no avail. I would appreciate any input to this problem... is it a missing DLL? I've reinstalled Windows, but that won't help. I got the new IE6, that doesn't help either.

Refresh the window (F5)
As for your other problem with Norton anti-virus, I don't know if this will solve it, but try it.

Hitting F5 apparently. And have you wandered over to www.nxsupport.com ? Maybe someone there has nothing better to do than help you . Maybe even young Mr Zhang will be there to show you how to setup your ChaoNima refrigerator/time machine.
