Just a thought John - here's two cool logos for VBWorld.
I mentioned it to Karl, and he said he thought they were better, and he'd have a chat to the head honchos. They haven't replied - what dyou think?

In answer to your question, it was made in Macromedia Fireworks 3.

What's the filesize like on those two new ones? Just asking because this site takes long enough to load now without big images.

the top one is 3972 bytes
the bottom one is 4458 bytes
and the on currently used is 1657 bytes

I think that the new logo looks a lot better

Fireworks kicks ass! You can see some fireworks stuff on the menu bars at http://www.cybernet-x.org.uk Also, I have never found the vb-world forums to download slowly either on the 56K connection at home or on the VERY fast Satellite link here at college!

Also, the current one has black text on blue background - doesn't go well.

this happened before too, the logos chaanged about 4 moths ago, there is something wrong with the links for your pictures though ( i can't see them)
