crystal report output in pdf format (Solved) Thanks Guys
Please help. Does anyone know if there is a way of exporting a report in PDF format, even if it entails buying software. We use crystal reports 7.

I've got Crystal version 8.5 and that allows you to export in PDF format.

I'm running Crystal 6.0 and I can't dump to a PDF file, so I guess it is a matter of what version you are using.

The version with .pdf exporting capabilities is the v8.5...up to v8.0 that wasn't available in the exporting formats.
additional to this...(for version v8.x Developer edition only)...there's an additional tool named Seagate Crystal Reports Distribution Expert, what this does is to allow you to create a Standalone executable version of your Report and will make a distribution package (setup including all dlls and ocxs needed) so you can just send it away.
