Newbie Question
How do i do the following?
"Don't forget to reference Microsoft Excel 8.0 Library Object or up first."
How do i create this reference?
All help apreciated.

You add a reference to a com library through the Project\References menu.

goto your Project menu in vb & click onto the References submenu. Place a tick next to the "Microsoft Excel x.0 Object Library" & you will be able to access any Microsfot Excel objects such as playing with ranges or calling up a workbook.
Note that the 8.0 version is the version of Excel you have installed (I think version 8 means it's Excel97), this might be a different number on your pc.
