I thought of a way to keep this site free. How bout selling VB-World t-shirts and hats and stuff like like that. Im giving this suggestion because recently alot of site that i used to have a membership to suddenly started making people pay. If you can think if a sure fire way of keeping this site free, POST IT!!!!!

Chimp,
Don't worry - we have no plans to start charging for access to this site.
Saying that, would anyone be seriously interested in VB-World merchandise (mousemats, mugs, pens, t-shirts, etc)?
Thanks,
James

Heck Yes!!!
of course I wouldn't want to pay for it, but if it was cool enough I would
and if you do start doing this(selling stuff) how are you going to do it?(I am starting my own business, and I wan't to know how people go about getting this kind of stuff)

Thanks,
Dennis

I'd buy a mug, and maybe a couple of pens. Dunno about the t-shirts, I'd have to see em. Got to keep up my hard rock image you know
Hmm, this mouse mat's looking decidedly worn all of a sudden.

Sorry for this test, but I think I've discovered a bug. Please ignore this post and delete it as you wish.

I think the best way is to let our advertisments pay for the site. If that's not enough then maybe we can all post it in some other message boards (to increase traffic)

Like James said, they aren't planning on making it Not-Free...
and that is spamming BTW,
I think shirts and stuff are the best idea

Hey if you ever decide to do some t-shirts or other merchandise, let me know. I would be interested in helping design something. Cool?

Since I'm pretty sure it would have to be small-scale what would be the top... say 5 items you would want to buy?
Mugs seem popular, same with pens, mousemats, t-shirts(?).. what else?

How about legal copy's of VB Learners signed by john, james, and karl ??
Ok just kidding, I wouldn't buy that, because I Have enterprise, and that would get cotsly after a while.
but I would definatly buy a "set" of things,
like a mug, a pen, pad of paper, and a T-shirt... that would be cool for about $25(USD)

Karl?
Uh...Karl Moore is not a administrator...I've seen it myself.
Oh, and sorry Karl, if you are watching, but if a book is written BY OR HAVE KARL IN IT, it won't sell because he'd have that commercial about the tic-tacs again...and he will probably get a REAL $10,000 in HIS account...

Merlin ?
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.
