some registry help ..
i came to know from some microsoft site page that we can open any template/workbook when ever excel gets open with open command of window registry .. it tells to put folloing link in windows regstry but i could find proepr way to put in registry ..
can any one explain the sequence how to add this link ..
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Excel\Microsoft Excel\OPEN =/R "C:\OFFICE\OFFICE\LIBRARY\ANALYSIS\ANALYS32.XLL"
what i did , under Excel i made other Micorsoft Excel key and Open and put the value .. but it didnt work .. any registry expert can tell this ??

I think also there is a standard template under each users directory for Excel. something like aread.xlt in common files or the system or document & settings folders etc. When Excel opens, it checks the current user logged on & opens this file - it's a bit like the normal.doc template for MsWord.
The easiest way would be to write a macro in this file & it'll excecute every time this user opens up excel if you didn't want to fiddle with the registry
