Not all fields in the same index expression
hi team
In Crystal 7 I get the following error when I try to link 2 tables with a second link.
Invalid file link. Not all fields in the same index expression.
The offending fields are the same data type and length and are indexed.
Any ideas

Without knowing the structure of the tables you're attempting to link, it's hard to answer your question.
A simple workaround is to create a query or view in your database which does the linking you require and then base your report on the query rather than the tables.
Hope this helps.

Re: Not all fields in the same index expression
Hi,
I have the same issue.
I can't create a query nor view in my database which does the linking because the linking I'm trying to do is between a flat file via an OBBC connection and a database table.
What should I try to avoid this error message ?
a+, =)
