    Cool New here, and need help w/ breakout

    well, i really dont know a whole lot about vb, but i would like to make games. Anyways, how would i go about making the ball move in breakout, and then how would i make the paddle thingy move via movement of the mouse?

    They have a load of Breakout type games that can help you get started.

    A tip: Try to make a breakout by your self, you learn much more!
    And if you look on others breakout, you could feel that your game will be less good as theirs, I feel it that way, perhaps you don't...
    But, a breakout game is good to do, you learn a bit about graphics and some maths (cosine and sine).

    Actually I didn't need any trig when doing MY breakout. But I admit it wasn't very sophisticated at that time (I stopped developing when I didn't manage to get rid of a utility library I didn't want without breaking everything).
