DSl Router causing Port problems...
Maybe someone can help me out on this. I have a DSL connection at my house, and my dad recently purchased a router so we could connect 2 computers to the DSL line. That works great. Here's the problem now. I don't know a lot about networking, and now I cannot make a Primary connection to the WinMX network. It says I can't receive incoming TCP, and incoming and outgoing UDP packets. I have the option to specify another port, but I don't know how to find out what the new port is with the router installed. Any help with this is extremely appreciated.

You can fix this but its going to require some changes to the router. Do you know how to do this? You are going to have to add tunnel/routed ports to your config.

wat yo need to get is make the blue calbes where it cansend data because you must only have one way clables so you can't send data to things, but you can make two calbes so you can do both at once so better then one and you will have less wires bcause there is two and then you will be working fine so you can send data from your windows
oh yah and make sure you are use the dls router with the dls line cuz you mgith have it in the calbe or phone and they get stuck in there when you get them in because they dont fit right and you have to get a new
