    I am searching for an control tha can connect me to an IRC server and allows me to chat plzzzz mail it to me : [email protected] en i will be eternaly greatful!!!

    There are many you can choose from...the main one is winsock and then there is inet (bot provided with vb). I would suggest you use winsock. I assume you are trying to write an irc client? Then go to PlanetSourceCode And serach for "irc clients". You'll get a long list that you can choose from...take a look at how they are made then write a better one
