    Question

    Hi!

I want to ask you something:
    Is this a VB bug:
When I do a ImageList and put there some pictures
and with a timer I do the animation.
Why VB makes some flashes in the animation of the background
    ???
Well, maybe in directx it doesn't happen (I don't know
    DirectX)?

    Thank you anyway,
    Arie.

It's not a bug, it's a limitation of the BitBlt in the way you have it programed, the speed of refreshing may be too slow to cope with the Transparency, with DirectX you dont have this problem, as you are using a whole different set of API (most of them not written in VB)

the best way to make this is to work with GDI API calls.
    It's very very fast.

if you want i can send you some samples

Talking Mind sending me a copy of it to?

Would you mind sending me a copy of it too? [email protected] or on ICQ [#17702174].
BTW, if your worried about bugs that microsoft is oh-so famous for [im a linux guy, VB is schoolwork], Microsoft has realsed Service Pack #4 for Visual Studio[the new one], which also includes Visual Basic 6.. It's somewhere on thier main site, if u need a URL for it, just drop me an e-mail, and i'll hunt it down from my favourites folder.
